The Urban Farming™ mission is to create an abundance of food for people in need by planting, supporting and encouraging the establishment of gardens on unused land and space while increasing diversity, raising awareness for health and wellness, inspiring and educating youth, adults and seniors to create an economically sustainable system to uplift communities around the globe.

Urban Farming™… More Than A Gardening Organization™!

The Urban Farming™ Vision is a Global Vision.  It is a Global Movement to “Create an Abundance of Food for All in Our Generation.™” The intention of this global campaign is to affect a paradigm shift in the consciousness of people around the world, creating a different perspective on food and financial security.

Urban Farming™ is a holistic global vision that sees a future in which good health, innovation and productivity are an inherent part of our lifestyle. Urban Farming™ begins with lifting people who are suffering from starvation and food insecurity out of their current circumstances and continues by connecting them to opportunity. We help people move from stagnant, difficult conditions to vibrant, healthy and productive lifestyles so that they may win in the global markets.

We believe in empowering people and transforming lives. Urban Farming™ serves as a hub and a network to connect people with non-profit, private and public entities. Developing win-win partnerships with community residents, non-profits, governmental agencies, local businesses and international corporations, is the foundation of the Urban Farming™ Business Model. We know that this approach, coupled with our Urban Farming Coexistence Model™ is critical to the success of our vision to “Create An Abundance of Food for All in Our Generation.™

Our goal is to be out of business in ten years because there is no more hunger in our world.

  • The goal of the Urban Farming Global Campaign™ is to help people transition out of the dire circumstances of unemployment, hunger, unhealthy diets and a lack of information, training and education. We are global and we are currently in nearly half of the United States and we have gardens abroad.

  • We help move people beyond the cycle of continual need for emergency food assistance, so that they may become employed or self-employed, productive and innovative citizens.  We provide in essence, the fish and the fishing pole.

  • Urban Farming™ actively does this by educating communities in need about growing their own food and about the global economy and emerging industries and how these issues affect their daily lives.

We are the first point of contact with the community and we achieve our goals through the following key activities:

  1. Urban Farming™ addresses the need for emergency food relief by planting Urban Farming Community Gardens™ of free food for the community and encouraging people to grow their own food at home.
  2. Urban Farming™ hosts free, educational workshops that raise awareness about the emerging industries, green businesses, job training opportunities and job placement opportunities by directly connecting people to employers and training programs.
  3. We host additional workshops that cover other key areas such as:  entrepreneurship, money management, how global issues affect our local economy, and healthy eating.
  4. We host free plant giveaways to encourage people to grow their own food, cut down on their monthly bills and learn about healthy eating, healthy living and healthy thinking.

Again, our end goal is to help people transition out of their current circumstances of need and to empower them so that they may become productive, innovative citizens.
Urban Farming™ is a Global Campaign to end hunger in our generation.  We plant free food on unused land and space for people in need.  A critical component of what we do is the Urban Farming Coexistence Model which features educational workshops to raise awareness, teach and connect people to the following areas of coexistence:

  1. Business Growth
  2. Job Creation
  3. Urban Redevelopment
  4. Urban Agriculture
  5. Health and Wellness
  6. Global Investment
